Tea Garden Salad

Ingredients

Salad:

1 3-oz. pkg. orange JELLO

1 11-oz. can mandarin oranges 1 c. brewed tea

1 9-oz. can pineapple tidbits or crushed pineapple.

1 5-oz. can water chestnuts, diced


Dressing:

1 c. Cool Whip

1/8 c. mayonnaise

1 grated rind of one orange

1 pinch of mace.

Directions

Salad:
Drain mandarin oranges and pineapple.
Save juice in measuring cup.
Dissolve JELLO in hot tea.
Add 1 c. juice from mandarin oranges and pineapple Fold in water chestnuts, mandarin oranges, and pineapple.
Mold until set.

Dressing:
Combine ingredients.
Spread lightly over salad.
This recipe may be doubled or tripled.
